BREAKING NEWS: COMING LATE FALL 2010
Award Winning AIDA Bistro & Wine Bar
Will be Moving & Expanding into a New Location
Our New Restaurant Space is a Stand-Alone Location Across the Street from our Current Location

Many customers ask, exactly where across the street? It is at the corner of Columbia Gateway & Columbia Gateway. When exiting our current location, take a left at the stop sign on Columbia Gateway and Go to the stop light. (That is the intersection of Col GW & Col GW). You'll turn left onto Columbia Gateway to proceed towards 175. Before you turn, look straight ahead, our location is the stand alone white/yellow building in between the County Office Building and The Care First Building. Check out the article in the Baltimore Sun. AIDA Bistro is Expanding, Article in Baltimore Sun.

The next question is why are we moving? We have had to deal with an existing spot that is too small for our business and has left us at a disadvantage because we cannot meet the needs of our current customers both business and neighborhood. We will improve our customer's experience is four areas; a new and expanded wine bar, a large outdoor dining area, a larger dining area for both lunch & dinner including a private room with AV, and a new kitchen which will meet our need to expand lunch, increase overall dining capacity and offer more menu options.

As many of you know, we have a small bar which is used for dining, so we have no place for people to mingle, meet for happy hour or to just hang out and have wine and small plates. Furthermore, we are all about food and wine, so we'll announce some innovative new capabilities that are unique in our area. More information to comer later on our innovations in the wine bar, stay tuned!

Great al fresco or outdoor dining is rare in Howard County. Since we don't have a lakefront on Gateway Drive as a draw, we will have a large public and private outdoor dining area to meet the needs of our community. The area around the front of the building will provide some of the best outdoor dining in the area.

We will feature two dining areas, the Aida Room on the right and the Buddy Room on the left. (Buddy was my father's nickname.) The Buddy Room can also be used for private events and group functions.

Our new kitchen will allow us to continue to provide high quality and innovative dining options. The Chef has helped design this new space to increase both our lunch and dinner volume with no decrease in quality. We will expand our lunch menu to meet the needs of our corporate lunch customers by adding carry-out, and soon after we open, catering options.
