7th Anniversary Special Events

Come and celebrate our Seven Year Anniversary with Joe & Mary as we begin & end in Rome and travel to one of the worlds oldest wine regions, Campania Italy, followed by some rest & relaxation on the Amalfi Coast. Itinerary for Spring 2010.

Here is the itinerary, it is the final draft, so it is pretty much what we will do, with costs and information on the trip. We are limited to 28 people, so it's important to contact us as soon as possible.

Guests arrive in Rome by their own means . (Cruise Vacations International, Inc. will provide transfer options as soon as we know flights for the group). We will provide separate costing for private transfers, if required . Accommodation for one night BB at Hotel Regina Baglioni in Rome in de Luxe Rooms

Breakfast . To reach St.Agata dei Goti it will take approximately 2 and a half hours. We leave Rome at 08.30 in order to arrive at Mustilli’s at 11.00. Leave Rome by coach and drive south to S.Agata dei Goti to visit the Mustilli Estate
Visit the Cellars with wine tasting and lunch on the premises at 12.30. At 2:30 leave Mustilli for the Hotel Serino. The drive will take approximately one hour. Check in and rest until 5:30 at Hotel Serino
and then continue onto Sorbo Serpico for the visit to Feudi di San Gregorio
with wine tasting followed by dinner at the Restaurant Marennŕ.

Breakfast. Leave the Hotel at 10.00 and drive to Tufo. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, to visit the Di Marzo Wineries where one of the best Greco di Tufo is produced. Visit , wine tasting and lunch at the Di Marzo Wineries
combined with their top wines. Visit the estate and then, at approximately 12.00, wine tasting and lunch on the premises. After lunch , return to the Hotel for a rest. At 5:30 drive to Taurasi, the drive will take approximately 20 minutes. Visit and wine tasting at the Caggiano Wineries
, producers of the top Taurasi wines. At approximately 7:30, leave for the Taberna Vulgi for dinner. Overnight at Hotel Serino.

Breakfast. 10.30 leave Serino for Pompei . The drive will take just over one hour. Upon arrival visit of the excavations of the Roman City with our local guide. The visit will last approximately one and a half hours and will be followed by lunch at Il Principe Restaurant. After lunch continue the drive to Sorrento . The drive will take approximately forty-five minutes. Overnight at Hotel Bellevue Syrene

Breakfast . Day at leisure in Sorrento with possible excursion to the Island of Capri or along the Amalfi Coast with Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Evening at leisure in Sorrento. We will provide a list of restaurants for dinner .

Breakfast. Same as above. In the evening , Farewell Dinner at Francischiello’s situated in a lovely position at about 10 minutes drive out of Sorrento Francischiello’s

Breakfast . Leave Sorrento at 09.00 and drive to Capaccio near Paestum . The drive will take approximately 2 hours. Visit the Vannulo Estate
which specializes in water buffalo breeding. Vannulo is well known in Italy for their processing of the buffalo milk from which they obtain excellent mozzarella, ricotta, yogurt and ice cream. Thereafter continue to Paestum , only about 30 minutes way . Lunch at Ristorante Nettuno
followed by an optional visit to the Greek Temples . At approximately 3:00 drive back to Rome. Calculating one comfort stop en route, we should reach Rome by 7:00 . Accommodation at Hotel Hilton Airport . Dinner (buffet) at the Hotel .

Breakfast . Just walk the few minutes across the flying bridge to the check-in area of Fiumicino Airport. Departure

Cost per person in sharing twin: $2,990 per person, double occupancy Single occupancy add $1,050. Need a deposit of $350 per person and after July 20, $50 per person will be non-refundable (as long as the trip is a go – if it’s not then all will be refunded).

- Accommodation for one night BB in classic rooms at the Hotel Regina Baglioni (will try and upgrade closer to date)
- De Luxe motorcoach for transfer from departure from Hotel Regina Baglioni in Rome to Hotel in Sorrento
- Visit to Mustilli Wineries with wine tasting and lunch on the premises including wines.
- Visit to Feudi di San Gregorio with wine tasting and dinner on the premises including wines
- Accommodation at Hotel Serino for two nights BB
- Visit to the Di Marzo wineries with wine tasting and lunch on the premises including wines
- Visit to the Caggiano Wineries with wine tasting and dinner including wines
- Dinner with wine at Taberna Vulgi
- English speaking local guide and entrance fees for visit to Pompei
- Lunch at Il Principe in Pompei including wines
- Accommodation in Sorrento in sea view rooms for 3 nights BB
- Farewell Dinner at francischiello’s in Sorrento including wine
- De luxe motorcoach for return transfer to Francischiello’s
- De luxe motorcoach for transfer to Rome Airport via Paestum
- Visit to the Vannulo Farm to see and taste the Buffalo Mozzarella production
- Lunch at Nettuno Restaurant including wines
- Accommodation for one night and dinner at Hotel Hilton Rome Fiumicino Airport
- Porterage at the Hotels
- All taxes

Cost does not include
- Services of a Tour Manager Throughout.
- Tipping to Drivers , Guide, Waiters etc . These will have to be handled directly on the spot with the relevant parties
- Any extras of personal nature
- Whatever not mentioned in the inclusions list. The meals mentioned above include half a bottle of mineral water , one half bottle of DOC wine and coffee per person . Should these amounts be exceeded, the extra will have to be paid on the spot.
