Welcome Loire Valley Winemaker Stephane Gouron on September 12, 2019
Stephane Gouron, a the third generation winemaker on the family estate of Cravant les Coteaux, which was founded in 1946 by his grandfather Rene. Domaine Gouron is entirely located within the Chinon Appellation d’Origine Protégée. We will taste Chinon Blanc and Rouge Wines (Chenin Blanc & Cab Franc). Throughout the year, they take great care of their vines to get the best maturity and natural lower yields. The gravelly-sandy on the plain, the sandy-limestone slopes and the silex-flinty hilltops soil. Domaine Gouron is providing wines of an incredible constancy, superbly ripe and smooth.
